The new XDS Essentials Package from Springfield contains all of the basics you need for your XDS 9mm Bi-Tone - minus the ammo, of course. This slimmed down package includes your pistol, two magazines, two interchangeable backstraps that allow you to custom fit your grip, a cable lock, and a bore brush, all inside of a lockable hard case. The two magazines that come with your XDS 9mm Bi-Tone Essentials Package include one 7-round flush-fitting magazine, along with Springfield’s brand new 8-round Mid-Mag with the X-Tension grip sleeve.

Perfect carry firearm, Shoots accurately out of the box and love the case size. Does not disappoint - excellent quality you expect from Springfield. Looks great, feels solid in your hand. All around excellent choice. Stainless slide really makes it look sharp and easy to clean.
The Springfield XDS is a great option for concealed carry. The grip feels great, and the weight feels perfect, even when loaded. Shoots extremely well.

Excellent CCW. This is my second XDs 3.3 9mm because I liked the first all black so much after several thousands round through it. Actually fun to shoot for a small pistol. Most importantly is my wife likes to shoot it and can shoot the XDs 9mm really well. So the first will become our night stand pistol. I'll carry this Bi-tone.
Ordered it on a Fri morning and four days later it's on the west coast at my FFL with standard free shipping. Also $75 less than my three local gun shops.

This is my first Springfield purchase. It looks great, feels great in the hand and shoots great. I put 150 rounds of freedom munitions reloads thru it today and there was not one issue. It's thin and light and carries well.

Nice compact EDC pistol. Excellent fit and finish. Just completed my first range session. Ran 120 rounds of assorted 124gr JHP and FMJ ammo through with no problems whatsoever. Accurate, quality firearm. Trigger pull a bit heavy for precise target shooting in my opinion. But perfectly fine for a carry gun, which is its intended purpose after all. Easy to field strip and clean. However, the sights leave a lot to be desired in lower light conditions. May switch to Trijicon HDs installed in my 9mm Walther PPQ and love them. The current Springfield Arms rebate program is a great bonus. The four extra magazines will be appreciated for range sessions with this low capacity, single stack pistol. Quality spare magazines are not cheap. Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore had the best pricing I could find on the internet. Ordered on a Thursday, arrived the following Monday. With free and fast shipping, no Florida sales tax, no credit card surcharge, what’s not to like? Will probably not be my last Sportsman Outdoor Superstore purchase.
